This home was designed by Francie Drummond and built by Don Drummond in Prairie Village, Kansas. The straight version of this house was called, "The Home for You and 52," in a 1951 magazine article. Sometime after that the design was reworked into this L-shaped version so that it would fit on smaller lots.

The car is a Buick Electra and it belonged to one of the members of the local Buick club.
