This building is a excellent example of a mature International Style high-rise. In the tradition of Mies' Seagram's building, the tower shows the classic bottom, middle, top composition. The curtainwall is detailed in a lively pattern of stone and glass, which projects the buildings structural grid on the facades and gives a Midwest softening to the usual International style glass box. Plans call for the conversion of the top 20 floors of this 30 floor tower to residential.
