The Loose Park Garden Center is a prime example of Mid-Century Design at its finest. Designed by the Kansas City architectural firm, Monroe and Lefebvre, and dedicated in 1958, the building has the elegant simplicity of a U-shaped plan creating a delightful exterior patio that opens to the Loose Park Oak Grove. The Garden Center is also the site of the Tea Room and Japanese Garden gifted to Kansas City in 2006 by our sister city of Kurashiki, Japan.
This FREE event will allow access to a building not open to the public. Space is limited and reserving your spot is strongly recommended.
